London's first Yemeni restaurant · Est. 2005
Saba · Taste of Yemen in London
Follow the old frankincense road from the highlands of Yemen to a family table in Paddington — serving mandi, saltah and fahsa since 2005.
Three menus, one table
From first coffee to last orders
Marib · the kingdom of Saba
A queen, a kingdom, a road of spice
Our name honours the Queen of Sheba and her spirit of cultural exchange. The five pillars of her temple at Marib still stand — and crown our crest.

Sana'a · the family kitchen
Recipes carried from the tower houses
Our founders came from Sana'a with family recipes and a passion for hospitality — stone-pot cooking, tandoor-baked bread and slow roasting, unchanged for generations.

Paddington · since 2005
London's first Yemeni table
In 2005 Rafiq Al-Awdi opened our door on Bouverie Place. Two decades on we are still family-run — and every guest is still treated as family.
